I thought it might interest you to know that there will be at least 30 new scenarios and 2, maybe three campaigns that will come with the game when it is released. These cover nearly every major theater of war, and involve many nations. You'll have amphibious assaults, meeting engagements, big tank battles, partisan attacks, just about anything you can think of. The scenarios vary in size from the smaller quick play to the bigger, badder monsters that will take a day to play. There are over a dozen top-notch scenario designers and testers working their butts off as I write this, trying their best to make the deadline and have the quality scenarios you expect with a game of this caliber. And there will be a continual stream of new ones each month on the Wild Bill Raiders Design Site and the SP Arsenal. Couple that with the battle generator (much improved) the campaign generator, plus the reinstitution of the long campaign and you'll have all the fighting you could ever want. I'm gone, gotta get back to work..Wild Bill ------------------ Wild Bill Wilder Coordinator, Scenario Design Matrix Games

WB; Can you give us a hint on a few of the big scenarios you plan to include? Kursk, Buldge....etc? Or is my scale off... ------------------ Better to make the wrong decision than be the sorry son of a bitch to scared to make one at all.

I'm swimming in scenarios as I try to design a few and coordinate the final design and testing by such a large group. Lets see, the Bulge is there, Invasion of Betio Island, at least Red Beaches One and Two, Prokhorovka, Ruweisat Ridge, A Screaming Eagles Campaign, a...whoa, yes, a lot of the bigger battles are covered. Remember though, DB, the scale of SPWAW is not that of WF or TOAW. Its bigger than CM and smaller than the others I mentioned. Think between Battalion and regimental size. Of course we might even change that in the future...we might (G)...WB ------------------ Wild Bill Wilder Coordinator, Scenario Design Matrix Games

Thats good news. I can play my battalion and brigade on SPW@W, and then play my platoon and company on CM. Looks like it's going to be a fun year for us War Gamers. ------------------ Better to make the wrong decision than be the sorry son of a bitch to scared to make one at all.
