This is a low priority bug.

I was making a Carrier Strike Group, and I entered some descriptive
material in the text box before I saved it into a .inst file.
In the description I used 4 instances of a double quote, ".
It saved just fine, although when I inspect the file I can see
that a slash was used to help delimit the double quote instances.

But, when I tried to load the .inst file (or even select it),
Command barfed, and popped up a window saying I should take a
screenshot and report it. I didn't take the screenshot, but it
did complain about Line 113, pos. 292. I opened my new .inst file
in a text editor and, sure enough, that was the position of the
first double quote.

I manually replaced the slash and double quote tokens with some
parenthesis, and the result loaded and displayed just fine.

So, long story short, a user can not currently place a " in the
text description of a .inst Import/Export file.

No biggie. I can adapt.

Great catch. Logged for our programming team to fix.

Hello,

You can use double-quotes if you escape them with a backslash character. This is necessary because the .inst info is stored in JSON format.

See: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15637429/how-to-escape-double-quotes-in-json
