B-52H loadouts for AGM-86s only have internal rotary launchers starting with the 1989-0 CALCM (entry 1909)The external 12 are unavailable nerfing the BUFF's AGM-86 payload by 60% from 20 to 8.

The loadouts for the AGM-129 are listed as 8 on the internal rotary launcher. This was not the case. 12 129s were carried externally only.

Source - I know the answer to the question "Why not Minot?" and 1014 > Balls 37.

Thanks, you're right on the AGM-129, have updated these.

It seems the full 20-ALCM loadout wasn't/isn't used operationally. In the early years it was common to carry 12 externally, but since the 1990s these have been carried internally. And so they do in the database. I could, as a compromise, also make the external loadout available post-1990s even though that's less realistic. Whatcha think?

Ahh! Lost a long post because I tried to post a picture of a B-52 from 2010 loaded with 86s externally and couldn't. Short version, in the 1990s at Minot AFB during a nuclear sortie generation exercise every B-52 that was to be loaded with 86s was loaded with 20. I'm not trying to be argumentative, I know in Desert Fox and Allied Force the CALCMs were only carried internally but the 5th Bomb Wing's nuclear role had 20 as the loadout if the a/c was slated for 86s. Though I guess one could argue that they were loaded externally for training reasons since there was never an actual nuclear sortie.

I guess really it doesn't matter, I don't suspect there will be too many scenarios built requiring a 3 ship of B-52s to launch 60 nuclear weapons. I can live with internal only, as long as you moved the 129 Advanced Gravity Bombs, oops! I mean Advanced Cruise Missiles to the pylons which you said you did.

Nimrod MR 2

The loads are too heavy.

It should carry 6 Torpedos and 2 B-57 or
6 Torpedos and 1 Harpoon or
2 Harpoons or
9 Torpedos

It never carried the WE 177. It used the same weapon as the US P-3C of this era. (update) - the B-57 20kt device

Until 1986 the torpedos should be Mk 46 after that date Stingrays or Mk 46 until 1995 when it was just Stingrays

Also during 1982 is was modified to carry 4 x AIM-9L and it retained this ability to out of service - these can be present with any loadout.

Thanks, have updated the B-57 depth charges

As for weight and Harpoon missiles, 9x Mk46s is 2322kg while 2x Harpoons is 1044kg, so should be able to carry both Harpoons and torps?

At under 50' the weapons bay is not long enough to hold them.

Stingray
Length 2.6 m (8 ft 6 in) x 3 = 25 ft 6 in (say 29 feet if you allow space for the parachute retarding system)

Harpoon
Length Air-launched: 12.6 ft x 2 = 25.2 (say 28 feet if you allow clearance to drop them)

Torpedo racks = 3 weapons abreast (2 racks forward, 1 rack aft - CofG issues)
Harpoon rack = single centreline mount in the bay due to clearance issues with the wings...

B-57 = 2 weapons abreast (aft of the 6 torpedoes)

Based upon the latest Google Earth imagery could I please have an SA-20b Russia with 12 Tels

Reference locations (GE only)

55 27 57.12N, 37 14 05.96E (Tombstone - brilliantly clear shadow being cast of the radar on the big 40 metre plus TET)
55 27 55.55N, 37 14 12.70E (Clamshell - again on a big TET, casting a shadow that clearly shows the 'septum' between the two antenna halves)

Around the compound are emplacements for 12 Tels, not all are occupied but within this compound and the one to the south are 13+ Tels

If you give me this one, I'll build the Moscow SAM ring and upload it here (based locations on an open source KML )

hey guys, if this hasn't been asked for already the AN/APS-20 radar needs to have 'Surface Search' added to its abilities. This radar was carried by several asw/maritime search aircraft like the P-2 Neptune.

Generic Searchlight range - should be 1.5 miles. Periscope detection at this range routinely achieved. Think this will affect a few MPA fitted with searchlights.

Hi,

Can you please add 68mm SNEB rockets to the Raf Harrier Gr3. This was a very common loadout for the Harrier and they should be available. In game the Gr1's have them but not the Gr3's.

Can you also change the Dual Mode Brimstone to have SAL laser guidance as well as active radar guidance. The original Brimstone has active radar but the dual mode should have both guidance options.

http://www.mbda-systems.com/mediagallery/files/dual-mode-brimstone_datasheet-1315920797.pdf

Thanks.

Are you able to model multiple sized missiles within a launcher.

Examples

SA-21b will likely have 3 large tubes with 1 x 40N6, 2 x 48N6 and then 4 small tubes with 2 x each of the 9M96 variants - in a single TEL!
ESSM is designed packed 4 to a cell within the VLS, which is also carrying missiles of a greater diameter.

SA-1 Guild (from Cold War DB) to this one please. It did not go out of service completely until the SA-10 took over all the Moscow sites in the late 80's.
Multiple sources for this one... Wikipedia, Ausairpower etc.

I'm not sure about this, but it seems weird. I built a scenario using DB3000 Ship#153, RKR Kirov [Pr1144 Orlan]. When I started it, I found the surface search radar does NOT cover the front arc, 45 degrees left and right of the forward centerline. Is this true? Seems weird that there's a blind spot in the surface search radar(s) to the front of the ship. Anyone help with this?

Which surface search radar? There are blind arcs on some of them due the superstructure, that's why it carries 3 of them.

#849 Facility Finland

There seems to problem with Finland's Crotale SAM. They are unable to fire closing aircrafts. I managed to destroy helicopter but they wont fire on fighters flying 12km. Is there a altitude limit for crotale?

EDIT: I found out that they do fire when target get lower to 5500 meters. So no problems here. :)

Missing ship.

SSV-33 Ural (Kapusta)

Both the Soviet Union and Russia should have an entry for it.

In that case then please add USNS Observation Island (given that you have the other 2- 3 parts of the system)

Finland Learjet 35A/S. Finnish version was equipped with APS-504 maritime surface radar. This was carried by external pod. Photo recon was also possible so camera should be option for recon missions.

If possible add Fokker F.27 Mk 100 (FF-1). Used for transport and from 1991- modified for SIGINT and ELINT. Also one Fokker F.27 Mk 400 was bought.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fokker_F27_Friendship

2007 c-295m bought for air transport. This model is in database to it can be added to Finland's arsenal too.

If this hasn't already been asked for can you add the Canadian CP-107 Argus to DB3000 database. It flew its last mission in July 1981 so would be nice to have for 1980-1981 scenarios. Thanks!

Considering that's only 5 years off? That's a realistic platform to have for the near future. And I'll wait for an answer from the DB Managers.

Thanks.

Wasn't saying it shouldn't be, but there are other errors in the DB that need addressing before all the future platforms are added - such as the ones that are in service already and are not modeled.
