Is there any way to order carriers to do what you want em to do??????????

I keep giving them attack orders on nearby ships/bases but they keep sending fighters and bombers against other targets that are further away... this hapens either if i set them to a fleet or not, and with any fleet stance...

I just lost a dozen ships to a single enemy escort coz my ships decided it would be fun to attack a oversized enemy space port while that escort was slowly killing them... There was no way for me to attack that escort. Mission for the carriers was to attack it but fighters and bombers kept going for space port.. this is really killing my game...

What stance do you have them in?

If they are in fleet i tryed both attack and defence stance, with any of the available options for distance... They do that even when out of a fleet.

Need a way to guide the flights of smaller craft like a fleet while independently guiding the carrier out of harms way.

My fighters and bombers seem to act like bees and attack whatever's closest to them.
