Love the game, however, it would be great if the game would pause when your forces launches its missiles/torpedoes etc. I realize that you can slow the time scale, but if you're not watching the next thing you know you sank a sub that you were hunting for a period of time. On the flip side it would be great if the game would pause as soon as you detect your opponents launch too. Perhaps I'm missing a setting...

Game options -> Message Log -> New Weapon Contact, check "Raise Pop-Up".
