Unimportant minor typo, RQ-4B Global Hawk Block 10-30 listed under US Army instead of USAF.

Neither LCS-1 nor LCS-2 have boatspace onboard; they can't mount the remote minehunting system they are supposed to field as part of their MIW module, nor any potential ASW UUVs.

What version of the db is your latest? DB3k Build 399 should allow on both.

If you don' that version now it should be in the next patch.

I posted the following in the general discussion forum re UK Royal Fleet Auxiliary vessels:

Wave Class AO - Max speed is 22 knots (23 on a good day with a clean hull) and not the 18 knots in the database. The Wave class is not fitted with 20mm GAM-BO1, instead it has 2x 30mm DS30B cannons. These vessels are also routinely fitted with 2x Phalanx CIWS.

Fort Grange Class AFSH - You might want to update these as in summer 2013 Fort Austin was fitted with two Phalanx CIWS and a Type 2070 towed torpedo decoy. Fort Rosalie (re-named from Fort Grange) will eventually get the same modifications. Propulsion engine for this class is a single Sulzer 8RND90 slow speed diesel engine.

Bay Class LSDA - Also fit to receive Phalanx CIWS (fitted to vessels deployed east of Suez).

I've sailed as an engineer officer on all three of the above classes.

Are there any plans to add the new Tide Class tankers to the UK database? I also see the database is missing the various Leaf Class tankers that were used by the RFA from the 1960's through to the present. In particular the current Leaf Class (Appleleaf, Brambleleaf, Bayleaf, Orangeleaf) which have seen extensive service from the Falklands through to all the various happenings in the Middle East. Pretty important ships the Royal Navy wouldn't have gotten very far without in the last 30 years or so.

I'm not seeing the Ulyanovsk carriers in the database, and given the other what-ifs present, they probably should be there.

May I propose adding US Marin Corp AN/TPS-80 Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) to database?

The US military’s long run of unquestioned air superiority has led to shortcuts in mobile land-based air defenses, and the US Marines are no exception. A December 2005 release from Sen. Schumer’s office [D-NY] said that:

“Current radar performance does not meet operational forces requirements… consequences could potentially allow opposing forces to gain air and ground superiority in future operational areas.”
One of the programs in the works to address this gap is the AN/TPS-80 G/ATOR mobile radar system. It’s actually the result of fusing 2 programs: the Multi-Role Radar System (MRRS), and Ground Weapons Locator Radar (GWLR) requirements. When the last G/ATOR software upgrade becomes operational, it will replace and consolidate numerous legacy radars, including the AN/TPS-63 air surveillance, AN/MPQ-62 force control, AN/TPS-73 air traffic control, AN/UPS-3 air defense, and AN/TPQ-36/37 artillery tracking & locating radar systems.

Here's little more info: http://www.marcorsyscom.marines.mil/Portals/105/PELandSystem/GATOR_090412.pdf
It uses 55-50 Kw power generator.

http://www.radartutorial.eu/19.kartei/karte121.en.html
http://www.defenseinnovationmarketplace.mil/resources/17_2013ATIP_GATOR.pdf

Can't find any info about it's range, but older system had about 300 nm and for missile detection 400 nm.

Gonna be a bitch to model - I band, AESA - likely using adaptive waveforms and interleaved modes - given it is replacing:

1. High powered, long range AD radar
2. High powered, mid range terminal survelliance and ATC radar
3. Medium range target acquisition radars
4. Counter battery radars
5. Short range, LPI, pulse doppler target acquisition radar.

Big ask if it works and a single point of failure too

Minor issues I spotted...

#1475 Civilian Motor Yacht [38 m] is listed as only 3 tons and 1 DP? That seems very low when the 13-meter yacht is listed as 10 tons.

#1379 Civilian Sailboat [38 m]...ummm...I'm not sure but the wrong picture may be linked to that record...I'm pretty sure that's not what a 38-m sailboat looks like. :)

Sure that's a 38 meter sailboat. Its just been dismasted. And lengthened....

I'll take care of it in the next update, due out this weekend. Thanks for pointing it out.

Finland Hamina-class is without SONAR and ASW-weapons:

The sonar suite includes a Simrad Subsea Toadfish active high-frequency search and attack sonar, and a Sonac/PTA towed array sonar. Not sure which model it is, but it can be added same Toadfish sonar in Rauma-class SS2400 Toadfish.
1 ×  rail for depth charges or mines (depth charges are normal load)
1 x Sonac/PTA towed array sonar

Also speed for Hamina is 30+ knots. I know that they can go much faster with their state of the art water propulsion jet. Adding few knots wont do bad. True high speed is classified, but 35 knots can be easily achieved. Older Rauma class can go at least 35 knots too, which Hamina replaced.

http://www.naval-technology.com/projects/haminaclass/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamina-class_missile_boat

Hämeenmaa minelayer is without mines. From 2009+ new mine can be added: Sea Mine 2000 - bottom, Acoustic & target Discrimination. Older version use bottom mines.
4 × rails for 100-150 mines

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H%C3%A4meenmaa-class_minelayer

Thanks!

me once again ;-)

as it is known that germany as country is missing in the import / export facilities. Are you warfaresims / someone of the community working on adding some installations / bases / sam sites for germany ? Would be really nice... because countries like togo or other smallers nations are already in the database and an "important" Nato country like germany totally missing...

Would be nice to have some news regarding that. Thank you once again !

I don't know what the DB policy on "what if" planes is but the Yak-141 was basically stopped by the dissolution of the USSR, not by technical problems, and would be a very fascinating what if.

Some corrections for Finland.

Facilities (coastal artillery) - should be building (static) not mobile:
#223 254 mm Coastal Fort

Check: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=3482851

Also these radars are all static, can you change them to buildings too:

#889 - Radar (KEVA 2D)
#888 - Radar (KEVA HF)
#1561 - Radar (VRRVI)
#1518 - Radar (VRRVY) - should be HF-radar not 3D-radar (reported earlier in this thread)
#1241 - Radar (TRS 2230) - This is mixed up with TRS 2215. The TRS 2230, is a stationary.

- - -

2010 Finland Navy replaced older FIKA coastal radars. Not sure how to find performance for new radars, but if it can be added it would be great:

NE-18045-X (fixed radar)

The 21035-X-antenna is ideal for use in shore based traffic monitoring and surveillance systems. This is achieved by using an antenna with narrow beamwidth (0.35°), large antenna gain (37 dBi) and fast rotation speed.

http://www.navielektro.fi/18045-Navielektro.pdf

NE-PRA3000

The PRA3000 Light series antenna is ideal for use in shore based traffic monitoring and surveillance systems. The antenna is designed to be a compact package with maximum gain. This has proven to be an ideal solution for gap filling purposes or medium range surveillance. Navielektro has currently deployed the unit in question at locations in Finland, Norway, Sweden and Africa.

http://www.navielektro.fi/PRA3000-Navielektro.pdf

Thank You!

#1241 - Radar (TRS 2230) - This is mixed up with TRS 2215. The TRS 2230, is a stationary.

Thank You!

Added both:

Radar (18045X) -- Finland (Navy), 2011, FIKA Replacement
Radar (PRA3000) -- Finland (Navy), 2011, FIKA Replacement

Will leave it up to you to create an INST file where these are plotted

I don't know what the DB policy on "what if" planes is but the Yak-141 was basically stopped by the dissolution of the USSR, not by technical problems, and would be a very fascinating what if.

Added request, thanks!
