the f-35 b has the same load-outs as the other f-35's, flying off a deck of an amphibious assault ship it could not carry the same load as a plane using a sky jump, or flying from an airbase. I know the load-outs at this point are just speculative.

I believe most of the current F-35 loadouts are pretty light anyway? So shouldn't be much of a problem?

If you think that there are particular loadouts that should be looked into please list them here and I'll take a look.

Thanks!

This aircraft is not very safe to fly IMO... In November 2011, a Pentagon study team identified the following 13 areas of concern that remained to be addressed in the F-35:[172][173]
The helmet-mounted display system does not work properly.
The fuel dump subsystem poses a fire hazard.
The Integrated Power Package is unreliable and difficult to service.
The F-35C's arresting hook does not work.
Classified "survivability issues", which have been speculated to be about stealth.[172]
The wing buffet is worse than previously reported.
The airframe is unlikely to last through the required lifespan.
The flight test program has yet to explore the most challenging areas.
The software development is behind schedule.
The aircraft is in danger of going overweight or, for the F-35B, not properly balanced for VTOL operations.
There are multiple thermal management problems. The air conditioner fails to keep the pilot and controls cool enough, the roll posts on the F-35B overheat, and using the afterburner damages the aircraft.
The automated logistics information system is partially developed.
The lightning protection on the F-35 is uncertified, with areas of concern

That was two years ago. The latest reports I saw was the majority of those issues have been addressed except two main ones: weight and cost. And cost is directly based on fixing all the above plus more.

Those issues are the normal ones you find in complex DoD system development on production/prototype run 1. Look at the F-15 and F-16 development. A huge number of issues on first run.

all three types of f-35's have the same max payload, an f-35 b can not carry as much flying off the deck of a LPD or LPH as if it were flying from an airbase or using a ski jump. Its load will be a lot less. the AV8-B has a Max. takeoff weight:

Rolling: 31,000 lb (14,100 kg)
Vertical: 20,755 lb (9,415 kg)

maybe you can cut the weight by a third, or just wait a while until we see what they really can carry.
