First of all, I'd like to compliment the game developers. I downloaded a copy of the game last week, and have been compulsively playing it ever since. I'm a long time Harpoon player, and its great to have a modern reinvention of that classic.

Onto my question: is there anyway to have AI scripted aircraft form up in groups after taking off before heading off on their assigned missions? Here is what I'm trying to do:

I'm playing with a Chinese ADIZ type scenario to learn the editor (basically Japanese F15s v. Chinese Flankers - sweep v. sweep). When I set up the AI CAP missions, the planes take off individually and head toward their patrol zones. I'd like the planes to form 2 or four group flights before heading off to their patrol zones. I've tried creating groups from the AC manager screen, but that doesn't seem to work. I can obviously do this if I create aircraft in the air first, and then group them - but I'd like them to do it on their own.

Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.
