Hi all,

I'd like to create new maps for Panzer Corps. May be a custom campaign: "1940 Blitzkrieg Fall Gelb" ....

I can load a pad image to make maps with good accuracy; but after tracking roads, rivers, railroads etc and I want to generate Tiles I can not re-load the same pad image, even if I save and I reopen. Why?

Is it necessary to finish ALL the work regarding terrain and after this I'll be able to generate liles?

Or is it a way to generate tiles partially, save the work and in following sessions re-open the map even with some tiles generated and RE-LOAD the pad image anyway?

Thank you and best regards

Konigsberger

Do you use original german Heereskriegskarten 1:10000 ???
Do you use all the big map material from Hoth and Guderians Books and the amazing material from the divisional history books from 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th and 10th tank divisions ???
Do you read the very nice Charle de Gaulle Biography ???

I produce a french map in 1km x 1 Hex scale - 450x300 - now I put together this map with my Normandy map to have more space for my Fall Rot Scenario.

South of Sedan part:

Hi Dunmorix,

the material I use is Guderian's books, Sebag-Montefiore's Dunkirk, the interesting Frieser Blitzkrieg history, and some material on the Web and from others wargames. I don't have the german maps 1:10000.
Other material is arriving. Your map is super and I think it's very difficult I could produce such masterworks. I'm interested expecially in scripts and triggers to create "dynamics" and challenging scenarios. It would be my first attempt. Of course the map is the first step.
You didn't answer my question about the re-loading of a pad image. Be sure if you are working at 1940 campaign project, I can change. You have begun first. Tell me.

My best regards

Konigsberger

On the slitherine forums there`s a tutorial on making a new map:
http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=147&t=32170
I`ve never made one from scratch and I don`t know how things have changed (or not) through the versions regarding the automatic generate tiles function so I`d rather not repeat things I`ve read that might not be up to date. You`ll probably be better off asking map questions at the slitherine since that forum seems more active in its PzC section.

Hi all.

R35 : thank you. So, I'll ask at Shilterine Forums.

Dunmorix: ok, I'd like to. But I'll be slow because I don't have a lot of time. If you want I can address u a private message. Let me know.

Bye
