I've recently been given to read only, I'd like to keep for myself a collection of magazine's relating to warplanes. From what I can gather the collection was written probably late 80's and definitely before the collapse of the Soviet union.

Anyhow there's a chapter about the British harrier and its use from concealed hides. Is it possible to simulate this use within command?

Yes. You could make a small invisible airfield, add it on the map, mark it as non-autodetectable and have the Harrier operate from there.

I believe the "invisible airfields" are just like the other airfields just invisible, as long as the magazines are stocked I think you'll have replenishment capabilities.

Yes you just have to stock the magazine with the required munitions
