In Canary's Cage, I often see F18s launching 2 AMRAAMs on a poor helicopter.
Would it be possible somehow to avoid this ?
Like keeping LR AA weapons for fighters (or HV units like AWACS), and short range missiles or cannon for helicopters ?
That's not only to avoid RTB, but also because the stores of AMRAAMs are low.
OK, some helicopters now have short range AA missiles ...
