Hello all. Is there a book you could recommend for commander tactics in the modern world or indeed a general book on modern tactics ? I've checked around the web and there are a lots of bits and pieces but nothing complete. Are there any out of date NATO manuals or such that you know of ? I'm getting fed up of getting blitzed in certain games because my knowledge is lacking !

When you play computer games learning the mechanics of that particular game is the most important. The game is only an approximation of the real word, so real word tactics only partially apply. Having said that I think the Army Field Manuals (FM-series) are useful. Also the Tactics 101 series on armchairgeneral.com is a very good resource.

Any documentation about blitzkrieg that can work in SPWAW?

Spwaw. Here is some things that may interest you. It might be a bit dated but general priciples will still apply.
