Really neat articles, left a comment but got a message saying my google account does not have permission to view your page.

Hope I'll be able to comment in the future!

The PRC govt blocks a list of domains, so that if your blog is from one of the concerned domains it will be blocked. They are not only blocking your blog Those domains include facebook, youtube, and many google-based sites.

many things are blocked, and some time depending on the current news they will just block if for that day, Some things you can see when news just happens and than a few hours latter you cant get it with face book they don't want social media things that they cant shut down in a hurry, There are many sites like face book in China but they can shut it down. The great fire wall of china blocks things, the NSA reads things. We all seem to have a big brother around. http://globalpublicsquare.blogs.cnn.com/2014/01/02/2014-is-a-make-or-break-year-for-china/
the main concern for the government is internal problems, The arms build up is more of a distraction for the population here.

Nice man, easy to read and a nice summary of the different subjects.

Re: Syria,

Unfortunately if it isn't on the 6 o'clock news people tend to forget there's a full blown civil war going on

Funny how the U.S can bump Saddam off but baulk at stopping a government actively engaged in slaughtering its own people.
