While I'm certain that stuff like this has gone around before, I haven't been too active here until lately and stumbled up on this footage of US sub attacks.

I find this game has a fantastic effect on making me look up old WW2 footage, if only to get a frame of reference of "what exactly does a torpedo strike look like!?"

I imagine it must've been pretty tense to slide into harbours to try to pick off parked ships. I loved doing stuff like that in a game like Silent Hunter 3, although it was often precarious because once a ship was lit up, the nearby escorts powered up and harbours weren't the deepest places for a submarine haha.
