I have win7 32 bit, amd 64 turionx2, 3gb ram, ati hd3650 512mb graphics card.
Everything was ok until a few weeks ago when the 1.4 patch came out.

The game crashes to windows after clicking on start a new game and when the loading screen opens (I get 'program not responding' message).

In the windows crash report I get this;

Maybe it is the problem in my ati radeon HD3650 drivers ?

I have the latest drivers installed (13.9).

By using the same logic from a similiar problem (http://steamcommunity.com/app/208200/di ... 395601/#p1)
I tried to insert atioglxx.dll file from the older drivers (11.8 ) next to my ctgw.exe file. However it still doesn't help.

I'm still not sure is it the problem with my drivers and atioglxx.dll file ? Would installing windows xp help ?

CTD with a new match with Scolly after a couple of turns. How do I use the above content ? Selections are: open, save, save to, These I do not know what to do with, or where to save to ect..? (step by step would be nice)

Don't know how to save game to send you.
Do see in documents/games/ CTGW file something called "scripts rar" instead of where savegame used to be.

Matrix staff,

Today a 4th MP match went CTD, or rather, when clicking this match from the MP ready to play list (green man), the launch ends up going to the CTGW startup menu.

Any quick fixes, with instructions on how to use, in the works?

More of the same (MOTS), a 5th MP match has gone belly up to CTD, this is really starting to get annoying,

same kind of results as above. Send the cavalry soon, to save the day, will ya.......A fix! Any news on this getting attention in 1.50? and How about a heads up on progress.....

For some other games (ToW & ToF) there's a game exit log created.
I know that this is NOT those games but have you done a search for any "log" or "console" files, rather than relying on the Windows error reports?

Perhaps search for any file with the date and timestamp that closely matches the time and date of the CTD?
Then; Can it be opened with a text editor?

My problem is: I'm not all that tech savvy..... Went documents/games/CTGW, but don't see savegame since installing 8.1, in it's place is scripts rar (I think), which I do not know what to do with. The last thing I want to do is muck up the program, then I will be really screwed. If the staff puts a fix out there for dummies like me to install, is my salvation, otherwise, all I can do is "sound off", for I should not have to be going through a bunch of hoops to play the game. I'll take a wild guess that most here feel the same way......

Has anyone tried this program? Does it work for SP as well as MP? What folder should it be installed in?

Yep!

Another CTD match with Suprass, that's 3 in a row with him. This one ended on the 18th turn, maybe 9th or 10th match overall to go south. Got a feeling it had to do with one of those fixes that were released about a month ago. When we started the last match, if Suprass put up a challenge the game would CTD right away, but when I put up the challenge we could play, which was odd.

2 more matches went CTD: one in 4 turns the other in 43 turns.
