Look at the ss. The Persian CAV should not be able to trace supply.

Supply is BUG in MWiF, it's probably a feature..

It looks OOS to me as it has the orange circle showing it is OOS.

The orange circle in position 2 indicates it is disorganised. Supply is indicated in position 3 (upper right). The Persian CAV is flipped and in supply. I bet the Japse wanted to mob it up with an auto attack there.. no the are in for some MWiF creativity..

I this case you can show that it is ignoring the ZOC of the JP 8-3 INF:

Gonna climb out on a limb here.

The reason the Persian Cav is in supply. Because Japan is not at war with France.

No ZOC can enter a hex that is controlled by a nation it is not at war with.

Those supply camels heading to the cav unit are flying French flags. The Japanese are under orders to let them through.

My theory after looking at the file.

Have you checked? B/C hexes in Southern Persia are JP controlled, and in the screenshot the JP units are attacking the Persian CAV. So I think it is save to say that there was a JP DOW Persia. JP is not (necessarily) at war with FR in that case (think of Poland 39 aligning to CW, does not result in CW at war with GE, they DOW first order of business in their own impulse).

It's a bug.
The flag in the hex only shows that Persia is aligned to France. Persian hexes are still controlled by Persia itself... If the hex was French controlled, it would have the whole French Flag visible and not shown as it is here, with part greyed out.

Thanks for the correction. I could not tell from the screenshot that the circle was not in the right place

Ktarn - is the supply correctly stated in a later impulse? I just had this occur at my side as well, but in a later impulse it was correct again.

Yes, it is. And saving, exiting, reopening and restoring the game does the trick too...

I should have known. Same workaround as for the overseas supply bug.
