All of these have been discussed in other threads.
1. Change the German 75mm Pak 40 AT gun to aheavy at gun type. Remove the upgrade from the 37mm to the 75mm.

2. Reduce the number of cavalry squads in the '41 and '42 infantry divisions to 9. Add 9 rifle squads.

3. Reduce the number of motorcycle squads in the '42 Panzer and Motorized divisions to 18.

Note: the .14 production enhancements address the cavalry and motorcycle production issues.
4. Increase PzIVh and j production limit to 18

5. Increase PzIIIj L/42 start to 11 and max to 15
6. Increase PzIIIj L/60 to start at 18 and max to 25.
7. Increase PzIIIm to start at 10 and max to 10.

The net effect of the Pz III changes is to add about 400 PzIIIs to WITE.

G'Day,
Using PzIIIjL42 from above, when you state set start to 11, does that mean in the editor you set the the total of the 2 x factory sites to be 11 (even though the total of the 2 factory sites is 12) and the build limit to 15

Each factory changes from starting at 6 to 11 for a total of 22.

With the new upgrade rules it can be wise to retain the upgrade from 37mm to 75mm ATG.

I hope this thread allows contributions from anyone (if so, thanks rmonical for opening formal topic.) If not, what's to hurt.

gamasaurusrex noted that adding some rivers & swamp to the immediate attack area of AGS could solve the Lvov pocket w/o cheese. These map changes, as well as one in the vicinity of Leningrad, appear to follow accepted, published maps. (Eventually I'll do it for my map when I can handle the editor better.)

Another organic solution to the Lvov cheese is to expoit Rundstedt's difficulty getting started by freezing some Pzrs & Inf a little longer (so long as it is done in a reasonable way.)

Several changes in 1.08:
IIIj gets three factories with start 6 and max 8, production ends in 4/42; unit upgrade to IIIm.
IIIL (former IIIj L/60) starts with three factories of size 1, max 8 and expansion of 1; production ends in 4/42, units and factories upgrade to IIIm
IIIm starts in May 42 and ends in 1/43 with build limit/expansion set to 13/1, units and factories upgrade to Panther D

An upgrade program is installed that makes IIIg out of IIIe at a bigger cost (new turret with 5cm gun) than the upgrade from IIIg to IIIh cost (applique armor). IIIj convert to IIIL at a slow rate and some cost (new long gun) and IIIL will be made into IIIm with application of the stand-off armor plates. Neither of the IIIj and later and IIIe/g will be scrapped, the IIIh no earlier than 1943.

Pz IV production changes:
One single fac with size 7 (build limit) produces IVf, upgrades are splitted into IIIn for units and IVf2 for factory, two size-1 facs addedd to produce IVf2 (BL 7, the IVg does not have more armor and imports all IVf2 at zero cost, the IVg L/48 has been transformend into a 1943 model IVg with aditional 3cm hull armor and a higher BL 12, available 11/42. The IVh has been moved forward to 4/43 with BL 13 and an additional factory in Linz, the IVj starts in 3/44 with BL 9 and another factory in Linz (for a total of 3 there).


Please let me know if there's more to change
