Was building a "soviet sub rush" scenario through the GIUK gap ---- Havent been able to figure how to build a SOSUS net.....

If it isnt included, I would suggest including the appropriate sensors and the "land based" uplink facility. In this manner if the facility is taken out, the network cant be read....

Just a thought, as any Warsaw Pact / NATO member scenario would undoubtedly implement such use of the SOSUS as it applies to the doctrine of thwarting the rush on the convoys.

On a different note --- congrats to the devs. I have been a fan of Harpoon since the late 80s (first played Harpoon on the original Mac way back then), and am really pleased to see this come out.

While the resurgence of Harpoon 3 (and NW and Ultimate) was good to see from AGSI, it became very obvious that AGSI decided to use their expertise in other commercial ventures (good for them...). Harpoon never really grew beyond a port to make Harpoon 2 work in a windows environment, but this is not a critique as they had to leverage the code base they already had. And I need to thank them for keeping the genre alive and kicking.

Thanks a ton to the guys here who decided to make a true windows piece of software in this area, and decided to build on the foundations that were there. <Clap>

You may also need the SOSUS ground station to make the Bottom Fixed Array work correctly:

#948 - Bunker (ACINT SOSUS Station) -- Generic (Generic), 0-0, -
