Have a few questions needing answered...

1. how do you load more mines on a ML in port and
if you can, about how long does it take?

2. what is the best ship to move supplies if playing
as Japan (or is there a better way than ship
to supply remote bases)?

3. how can you increase morale among air, naval and
land units?

4. how do you decrease fatigue?

5. how do units (naval, air, land) gain experiemnce?

thx for the help,

Terp

1: You can't load "extra" mine on MLs, and they can ONLY be loaded from Noumea and Truk.

2: APs and AKs for supplies, TKs for fuel, however normal suface fleets units (such as DDs CAs CLs and even BBs can be used....these are great if you want to get supplies to a base fast, but note that if you use surface fleet units they will quickly build up SYS damage and a faster rate).

3: Send them to Brisbane, Noumea or Truk for a rest.....also make sure that there is a good supply at the base that they are operating from, as this does help with morale.

4: Rest units as per #3, or for aircraft just set them for "Training only" for a few turns.

5: With air units set them for Training at 30%, Naval units...simply steaming around will increase their exp, and there is nothing better than combat to gain more Exp points for a unit.
4. how do you decrease fatigue?
Thats a big one.

First, be aware of the malaria effect in almost all locations except a few home bases. This will constantly cause fatigue to rise no matter what you do.

There are various things you can do to offset the effect.

1) Proper support levels (support staff - HQ's)
2) Proper supplies (lots of food and ammo)
3) Regimental integrity (keep sub units with their HQ)
4) Distance limit from Main HQ's
5) Base size (port+airfield)

All of these help lower fatigue, but they are all fighting against malaria and combat and movement which all cause fatigue.

Expect to have to rotate your troops back to one of the home bases (where the effect does not exist). Once you realize that this is a requirement, you'll understand the game a lot better.
