Hi

I've managed to turn all messages into pop ups and no matter what I do I can't get them back onto the map window. How do I do this?

I've tried the check box in the menu

Not sure I understand the issue. You have asked for pop-ups for all message types but no pop-up appears although it should? Have you by accident moved one outside of your window borders? The next ones to pop-up will use the same spot to show up, even if outside your window borders.
Try this: "Game"->"game options"->"General" tab-> click "Reset positions of secondary windows".

Thank you

That sent me in the right direction. I'd managed to uncheck all messages except pop ups.
