Sapper32,

My question to you is, when you made the screen shots, how did you add text like that? It's pretty cool looking (red and green font on 3d black background) and a neat effect.

Just to clarify, this is not one of Stéphane "Boonie Rats" Moutin-Luyat's VCO scenarios, but a scenario called Boonie Rats, designed by Steve Overton. It is available at Rugged Defense:
http://www.the-strategist.net/RD/scenarii/browse_scenario.php (in the directory tree to the right, go 'Cold war/Vietnam War', and you will find it).

Edit: that download is for ACOW. Ian, is there a TOAW III version around?

Hi Martin yes the TOAW III version is available in the modern asia folder and comes with the game although it is an early version 3.0 i think,My main reason for playing this one is the smaller map size 10km hex and only 90 turns so a fair bit smaller than Curts exellent CSV which im slowly getting through vs the AI

Thanks Ian, I'll google it and give it a try. I dig that 3D'ish text overlay and think it adds pop and snazz to the AAR!

Thanks for the name of the app you used.

Have you seen the monsoon last until August? I arrived at Ubon, Thailand Aug. 6, 1972 and they started me flying missions
down south ( around Tan Son Nhut ) during the monsoon. The northern areas were socked in ( NorthEastern Cambodia, Western
Laos, etc. ) so I had to fly for about two weeks through and around the clouds and didn't fire a thing. It was a waste of JP-4 IMHO
but it counted for my air metals so I wasn't complaining.

Are you using an updated version of this scenario or the one that comes with the patched game?

Hi Aces its the original version that comes with the game im using the 3xBb patch,I played it way back in 2007 when i bought the game(wow ive being playing TOAW III for 7/8 years thats great value for money)so i cant realy make a comparison as to how it is playing but the NVA/VC seem a little easy to destroy when surrounded but they are conducting some good attacks at the momment against SV and US forces,Im looking forward to seeing how my ARVN army does against the NVA when the US leaves but thats a long way off yet,So for now i will keep using my superior numbers and equiptment to batter the NVA/VC and do as much damage as i can.
