Moscow: Tass 15th January 1938 Stalin returns from the Bolshoi after sitting through Swan Lake. He is in a foul mood not having seen any swans or even a lake just a lot of guys prancing around on a stage wearing tights. Molotov hands the Soviet Supreme leader the communique from Paris. War before 1942 he laughs the French have not got one military assessment right since before 1812. Have we got anymore suspect generals to shoot I need to watch some real entertainment.

I believe so just waiting for Chuck to take his turns that's three powers I guess the French turn has been completed.

Yes, I finished the French and am working on the British now. TwoTribes mentioned the British "building" a chemical factory for the French. What mechanism allows this?

First France would need to ally with Great Britain.

Then british engineers would have to have enough EP for building the Chemical factory, not to mention Britain having 200 PP as well, to spend. Choosing a Hex somewhere in England would probably be preferable.

Then the British could give the hex, that the chemical factory is in, to France, and supplies would flow, from it, to France, once the French select a HQ for it to deliver them to.

Oh my. Well, Churchill was thinking of proposing that the two countries become one, and that procedure is pretty close.

When I moved from France to Britain there was no saved file generated. Do I have to actively save before finishing America so I have a file for DropBox?

You will have to use the Save & Quit button at the end of the turn.

I believe so. But the only safe way to save for loading for us is with the save and quit I believe. SO until you are ready to send the file no need to save and quit, just save locally.

Hi Antonio the Japan turn was in the Dropbox for several days, not the best way to start a game. I tend to check and respond to my e-mails everyday. Now we seem to have lost Jonathan his last post was 5 days ago 03/06, possibly because the start of the game had appeared to have stalled he decided to pull out. If you play the Chinese turn in the Dropbox then we can get this game moving.

Sorry Antonio last spot gone if you start another game in the Opponents wanted I will be happy to join. This time put your name down to play Italy from the beginning, I would be more interested in a 8 player game the diplomacy aspect would be fantastic.

Ok did turn 3 but had a problem. I have a problem with Matrix games it randomly ends the game on me. Has something to do with mouse clicks, Matrix says it is not there problem so I must have loaded a program that did it but no idea what.

I had to redo the turns as it crashed me on the Japanese turn. Maybe from now on I will save after each turn and just redo the password and login. That way I only lose one turn.

Ok looks like just 4 of us. I will take the Axis forces. The restrictions are as follows... Soviet Union may influence the Baltic Countries, Persia and Mongolia. The Allied nations may not influence any nation until 1939 and then only their historical allies. Japan may influence Thailand. Germany may influence their historical allies and Countries. The war starts in August 1939.

What about China and Japan, do I need to worry about Japan possibly restarting the war prior to August 1939 and vice versa, or are new war declarations by both China and Japan prohibited prior to August 1939?

Japan and China within the Japanese Chinese sphere are free to do as they want. China is free to influence whom they want as is Japan as they started the game at war.
