I found a review on Rock Paper Shotgun. Some nice comments too. Unfortunately, the forum won't let me post a link...

So you'll have to find it yourself :P

I've reposted the link on a couple of other sites I hang out on. Good way to get out the word!

They are right, the geniuses behind this game have what it takes to make the first proper PC Gladiator management sim. Used to love GLADIATOR from Avalon Hill back in the day, when was that about 81-82.

Matrix\Slitherine\Turnopia, whoever....please please think about doing a PC version of Avalon Hill's "Gladiator" from boardgaming days of yore! Your Qvadriga game is so complimentary to AH's Circus Maximus that it's hard to imagine your Gladiator game wouldn't be a big hit too. Please consider! I'll buy five copies.

a game like this would demand 3D graphics to enjoy proper fightings

Sorry to disagree but that would be a big mistake IMHO. Doing something in 3D that was essentially a 2D boardgame will inevitably draw the design far far away from the original. Then releasing it will attract people who know nothing of the original and repel those that do.

I agree with Jeffrey H. Qvadriga is quite nice as 2D top down, a similar approach to Gladiator would be just fine. The mechanics are much more important than the eye candy.

I would love to see Gladiator, but first would love to get more features in this game.
