It looks like I should have a couple more boxes to look at on the main form. One big grey one that shows combat odds and other messages and a row below them. I cannot stretch the box open or make it bigger to see those rows. Did I accidentally hit something that made that disappear? OR is it a screen resolution thing? Any suggestions on how to get it back?

Could be screen resolution. If your screen is 768 high, you must hide the taskbar. Another possibility is your Windows font setting. It should be set to standard, not large.

For those who have a smaller screen or don't like changing the font, there are programs available for download on the internet, that allow you to make your small screen work like a window over top of a larger screen area.

How do you change the in-game screen resolution to full screen?

Drag the edges of the Detailed map out to where you want them. It's always best to keep the Main Form at the top, though, and offset to the right by a couple inches. Then redefine the Screen Layout and save it under a new name.

See Players Manual Vol 2, Section 8.6 and pages 205-207.
