A zero chit is drawn for Germany on the US entry chart. The Bearn is interned, with no chits removed.

Here is the German pre production.

Again something does not seem quite right. I won't make any comments on it as of yet, because I may be wrong.

Same oil problem in Italy. I could have sworn that 4 oil was stackable in a city or was it 2? Will switch to save in a different city this time.

I have been able to save more than one oil in a city before, and I do not understand why it is not working now.

Perhaps its something messed up in the program that changes the resources during the impulses. I will have to start paying attention to the production page each impulse.

Perhaps when a new year happens, and the production points change, something happens then. Oh well, keep marching on.

German Builds

I realy wanted to Add another HQ this turn, but with the western front about to explode, I wanted to be sure that I could replace losses in case it gets rough.

Naval moves

The CW sens out the montly convoy escort replacements, and the garrison sails from Bombay to Gibralter on the liner.
France replaces convoy escorts in the western Med.
The US sends the convoys from Hawaii to extend the supply lines toward Australia, and the bases in between.

It is tempting to send out strategic bombing missions, but France and CW save their air units for possible German attacks now that the weather is clearing.

The French could have used a land move this turn to better position their units, but needed to cover their convoy escort responsibilities in the Med, so only three units were able to move.

The US flies their long range NAV from Frisco to Hawaii.

I was to try a different set up, but each combination has its weak spots. If the Belgians can repel at least one attack, it will be a success.

Every time I get to a point where the game is "getting interesting", it seems like I have to pass a WIF random task check. It is in section 25.1 in the WIF RAC manual.

The Italians fly their NAV to the Italian coast, and send a CL for convoy protection duty.

The Japanese fly the only strategic bombing mission.

After sending out the groundstrikes, and looking at the map, I realized there is a potential overun on the cav unit. Overuns up until A day or two before starting this AAR was something that only happened to SHips and planes. Realizing that I had been missing out on one of the main uses for armor, came as a wake up call.

I dont remember if armor can perform an overun from across a river or not, but I will find out shortly.

I am looking to do three attacks on the circled hexes this turn, if the unit in Brussels is disorganized. If not, I will consider Brussels and do the other two.

A strike is sent down to try to disrupt the HQ, and to give the French air force more tartgets than their fighters can cover. The RAF has the potential to hit back hard.

The first strike against the French missed the target, but half of the French air force was eliminated. I call the battle a win for the Germans.

The Japanese with Yamamoto are formed up and march south. Motorized Infantry seize the opprtunity to take Ichang, while the US shows no reaction. Engineers and artillery move inland from the ports to join the attack. The HQ outside of Sian begins moving to Sian, where they will swap commands with the HQ in Wuhan. The object, is to extend a greater command range outside of Sian.
