How do I get the current build 506, I see issue that I have encountered, and would report bugs but would like
to file them on the current build.

There are public beta builds and private beta builds. If you are not part of the restricted beta group then you can only get the latest public beta build. At the moment the latest public patch is 1.03 (build 504).

Hi Vinson and welcome,

Next time you have a freeze can you please post the autosave file(s) on this forum so that we can investigate it.

Can you also tell us which build you are running on.

Hi,

I am on build 504 which was the reason I was looking for build 506 to see if

have the same problem.

Here is dxdiag.

Another issue I have notice is that the sound plays for a while then starts to

what sounds like multi sound files trying to play at once. Once this happens

within several minutes the sim stops responding.

yes, but you need to zip it as only gif/txt/jpg/zip are supported in the forums

Hi,

I think I see what is going on here. I change scenarios now I have intermittent out of memory exceptions.
I should have a screen shot and save file for you later today. In any event since I am
a registered user is there any chance that I can have access to the current build? I an an internals
support analyst for Oracle so I dislike trying file bugs on older versions of the database I assume
it is the same here.

I thought it might have something to do with my SSD (it can be weird sometimes) so uninstalled it and placed it on a hard drive.
Same issue.

The music issue should be resolved in the next release. For now turn it off.

Hi,
I understand that you might be in sprint mode, but the Sim is almost unplayable. I am not going
to off in a tirade, but for the price it would seen if a current build is not stable then it would be
a priority to get fixed.

Don't get me wrong I believe that this Sim is 100% better in many ways than what we have had,
but we need something stable. I am willing to go back to an older build just to get one game
completed. Ok, I will stop!!!

Back to the main problem. After many, many and I mean many hangs, it appears that the issue is
with missiles. I would say that 90% of lockups are where we have medium to large missile fights
going on.

Unable to reproduce crash in Build 507; it is possible it has been covered by fixes for other similar crashes. Please re-check once B507 is available.

Hi. I hope you don't mind me posting here, but I was curious about the 'Command is unplayable like this' line so I downloaded the save file and opened it on Build 507. I instantly got this upon load:

Note: I don't encounter this error at all while opening my own, new load of the scenario.

Hi,

Well the 507 build did help a little bit, but the sim still stop responding once in awhile. Again it seems
that it is right when I am having missile fights. Now if I don't get into missile fights I seem to have less
problems. The down and dirty to this is that the sim is unstable at best and I will hang sooner or later
the sim is going to be golden.

Not sure how to explain everything, but Command stop responding if there is a large missile
engagement. This happens to me almost everything time I have a big fight. I can continue to
play if I reload the autosave but Command will stop responding a few time or until the large
missile fight is over by reloading the autosave over and over.

I did try to get this to reproduce using guns and ship bombardment would have not so far.
