Well, how to start a WiF game while your buddy is living in France while you're in Montreal? Let's simply find a way to play with this beast through email.

- We share our files through Dropbox.
- We thrust each other. We can make some basic decisions for each other. When to abort, to intercept, which unit to loose, etc.
- We take our time. If there are a lot of ground strikes, we simply save the game and let the other player for the interception.

My experience? About 10 games during the 90s. Maybe 20 games for Gongon.

So, I'm scared by master Gongon so I take the Axis. At least, this way, we will play through 1940.

Finally, lets just say that we are currently playing S/O 1940. So I will try to update you when I have some spare time (not much).

Oh, by the way, English is not my first langage so forgive me if you do not understand something... :)

Salut je suis à Québec,

If it can be done via email with Vassal (I did one which lasted until summer of 1943), there must be a way to do it with MWiF.

I am curious to see how it goes, keep us updated.

Michel.

S/O 39

Not much info for this first turn.
Very classical: Poland is conquered, same for Denmark, and trying to find out what to do in China.

In China, I just try to kill everything that I can.

My goal is to do an agressive campaign in China until I go against the US and the CW.

Poland at the end of the turn. Already starting to move units to the western front.

Axis Initiative.

Weather still nice on the first impulse, declaration of war against Netherlands. The attack on Amsterdam (+18) is costly with a "4", loosing an INF.

On the China front, I try to ground strike anything that can be killed later. One ground strike is succesful in Central China.

My first of many mistake on the next impulse: I decide to attack Belgium, hoping to gain time in my conquest of France.

The attack started well with an easy win in Liege.

But then, the french decided to commit a lot of units in Belgium. This will be a tough nut to crack while the weather turn to worse.
