I know I should never stop running Command but sometimes sleep is necessary. I have a repeatable issue with command.exe still running after closing program and when attempting to log off PC (user) I have a .net error report preventing me from doing so (attached). Anything I should try to fix this issue? I am still on V1.03 B507.

I use task manager to resolve command.exe shutdown issue and the .net error just needs to be acknowledged. Because this is not known right away, I select log off or close program and leave PC, 8 hours later I have message and find out my CPU has been cranking away the whole time.

Is command secretly playing "War Games" with NORAD while I sleep?

What OS are you running?

Do you use hibernation or anything like that? I ask because we've seen issues similar to this when command is left open and the computer goes into that mode.

Mike,

I do not use any hibernation or other power options. This error will occur right after shutting down command and trying to log off. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. Dual core 2.7 AMD with 6GB Ram. Just tell me its the PC because I need a reason to upgrade.

Ok thanks for reporting. Win7 seems to be a common element in folks that have this problem. We'll look into it.
