1. When writing a check you put 1940 something for the year...

2. You know that once you click the load scenario button you can type in your password and hit enter before the PW screen even shows up on the main page...

You teach high school chemistry (like I do) and during a discussion of radioisotopes, I-131 comes up. Instead of thinking of the radioactive iodine used in medical procedures, you say to yourself, "Hey, that sounds like a Japanese sub.".

What's even worse is you telling the student adds to the discussion: "don't be silly, that's a Japanese sub!".

This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. I can quit anytime I want to. I've been consistently saying that about all things WiTP for the last 11 years now.

I cook part time in a busy Italian place and find myself thinking about my next move when preparing dishes. I also dream, yes dream about different things involving WITPAE. I think I need therapy. GP

Problem? I haven't got any problem. Spending three hours (not playing the game) building a fleet maintenance/refit/repair spreadsheet to support game play, that's normal,,,,, right?

Using three spreadsheets on a laptop to support playing the game on a tower computer, ,, all normal,,,, right?

Well, it could be worse. You could be sitting with the kid in front of the computer telling him the story of WITPAE turn 345...

You have used all 199 game save slots and mourn for the ones you had to delete to make room for more recent saves.

I create backup directories in the SAVE directory and move my saves into the backup. I can keep all my saves that way. I usually move them when I get up around save slot 80.

Uh, I do. I wrote a check not too long ago to Chickenboy for a debt incurred on a bet about an AE game! I think I have more than just one problem.

Did I get the date right, Andre?

I remember that on June 6, 1964 (while in high school), I wrote June 6, 1944 for the date on a paper or test or something. And the teacher (a veteran) picked up on it ...

So, maybe not a WITP-aholic, but definitely a WWII-history-aholic!

Close enough. The bank cashed it, so it was good enough.

Although you needn't have put "Nyah na na na na...pfft..." in the "Memo" field.

I can be a bit old fashioned about things. I find I can keep track of my bank account much easier if I write paper checks, so I pay the bills with checks and stamps. When I use electronic banking, it's way too easy to forget something and I don't log the payment then get overdrawn. It's really annoying to get overdrawn when you have the money, it's just not in the right account at the right time.

When I'm writing checks, the register is right there and it's part of my procedure to log the check as I write them. I probably could develop a habit to log the electronic transaction in an electronic register, but I hate learning new habits. I probably will have to one of these days.

You talked to your wife the same day you lost a Carrier!
Unless my wife is offering sex, speaking is off the table the rest of that day!

Your PBEM opponent tells you he is in trouble with his wife for yelling at her because she tried to talk to him while he was watching the major carrier battle. You then load up the turn, and end up yelling at your wife for the same reason.
