I have a Resupply ship that is UNDEPLOYING, why ?
Because it have 1 Armor damaged. It's shield are full, and it is NOT automated.

is there a fix coming fot this ?

More info:
There is no more enemy ships in the system.
The design is set at retreat at 50% shield.
If i give a new order to deploy, as soon as it reach the target, it start undeploying again !

Ships retreat when are low on shields automated or not.It would have started to underdeploy when it was attacked and armour hit.

Francoy said the shields are full, so it's unlikely retreating because of this.

but maybe it has something to do with the resupply ship design's behavior? like always escape or something?

Liked I edited it would have started to underdeploy when it was attacked. It can also underdeploy based on weapon range settings.

Unfortunately ALL ships retreat then at least 1 component damaged and enemy attacking. To make it worse escaping ships stop firing and just getting killed.

You can tweak it with the policy screen but it's not advised.

DefaultMilitaryFleeWhen 1=Enemy Military Sighted, 2=Attacked, 3=Shields at
50%, 4=Shields at 20%, 5=Never

The problem is that a 60 armor capital ship runs like a sissy when a rail gun escort scratched one armor and it is at full shields.

It has always been that way, and it is as annoying as ever. It makes railguns completely broken in the early game.

We need better ship controls - Retreat then 50% armor left and 20% armor left would be nice.

There are two parts to this problem. One is that ships with a scratch on their armor think they're out of shields even though they're not. This results in ships on anything but "never flee" will try to escape their current engagement. But put them on "never flee", most easily done by selecting a ship and clicking on its design name in the detail window, then changing the stance for the design and clicking "save", and they'll stop fleeing. But then they'll of course also fight to the death unless you micro them.

The other part of the problem, and I think this is what the OP is banging his head against, is that ships with a single dented plate really, really want to get repaired, even if it means racing across the damn galaxy to find a space port that can do it. This has super-high priority in the AI and I don't of anything we can do about it aside from researching repair bots.
