What does "DBB-C" and "PDU" denote?

This enterprise did not go too well. The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor failed as the carriers were not present. The battleships got hit by several torpedoes and bombs, but in the shallow harbor are probably not gone forever. Nevertheless, all of them were at hit at least a couple of times and all of them will be out of action for at least a little while. The airfields of Pearl Harbor were also hit and many planes were destroyed or at least damaged severely. With PDU off this is an important victory. The Americans won't have many options to conquest the skies over the Pacific.

The Philippines:
Together with the attack on Pearl Harbor, Japanese bombers bombarded Clark Field. And while Japanese troops took Batan Island, the USS Houston was sunk by B5N1 Kate torpedo bombers from the CVL Ryujo.

Malaya:
Japanese troops landed at Khota Baru and at various locations in Thailand. Force Z was not discoverd.

Aleoutins:
The 1st Sasebo SNLF landed at Attu Island. Hopefully this will lure one or more Allied warships into this direction. The Pearl Harbor submarine force is moving north in order to catch the Allied warships on their way to or back from the Aleoutins.

Status: offline 		Japanese aircraft trying to get control over the skies over Manilla and more important, to destroy as many Allied ships as possible. Several G4M1s were shot down and I'm considering pulling them back for a few days to give the Zeros a fighting chance to destroy the P40s first...

Status: offline 		Turn 5 was excellent for the Empire. Twenty Allied ships were sunk and many more severely damaged by submarine attacks, surface combat battles, naval attacks (from Takao, CV Kaga and CVL Ryujo) and a port attack on Georgetown. In the Philippines the 14th Army is about to land on the Southern Island(s). Luzon will be bypassed to keep up the speed. The 14th Army will move south to Java, while the 16th Army will strike elsewhere. Luzon will be dealt with later...

Status: offline 		Malaya: The 1st Tank regiment has cut off Georgetown and Alor Star before the Allied units could pull back. The Allies in turn are moving in on Patani in order to seriously stall the Japanese advances. Interesting...

Borneo: Japanese units landed on Miri and Brunei. Mirri is quite damaged (178 damage to oil and refineries) and hence I will not repair the refineries here in contrast to previous games. My units will soon land at Singkawang with support of BB Haruna and BB Kongo and another TF with CV Kaga. A naval battle seems likely here.

The Philippines: Japanese troops are landing at varous places at Mindanao and the smaller islands. Several Allied ships are sunk in the area.

China: The Allies are on the offensive in the area between Foochow and Hanchow, while the Japanese are more occupied by taking Hong Kong. We will see how this plays out. The DM Thracian managed to sink DD Ikazuchi. Only one shell hit, but it caused 99 fires. A lucky shot...

Status: offline 		I made a move to Singkawang in an attempt to lure enemy ships to the Dutch port and to sink them with the aircraft of CV Kaga. Only some Dutch destroyers turned on. The destination of my invasion fleet is Palembang instead...

Status: offline 		Turn 14 and things are going well. I learned from Cannonfodder that it is wise to take Palembang early. Today the three Japanese SNLFs landed at the Dutch base with support of the BB Haruna and BB Kongo, while CV Kaga provides air cover.

Another target that will be taken early is Port Moresby. Today KB suprised several Allied transports and sank them with thousands of crew aboard. I'm wondering which units were aboard...

Status: offline 		I'm in Singapore!!! Unfortunately not yet in the game. My troops are moving fast though. I have few tank regiments on "move" and everything else on "strategic move" and am making excellent pace through the jungle. Many British units have been cut off and are dealt with by small Japanese Garrisons. Once Singapore is taken I will destroy these units.

In the Philippines all smaller islands except for Luzon are almost under control and invasions into eastern Burma and Celebes are underway.

Japanese units have landed at Port Moresby, which is barely defended. It will fall soon. The 144th regiment, which was in reserve for Port Moresby, will therefore land at Horn Island instead. Banzai!!!

Status: offline 		December 31st 1941: The sneaky Dutch launched an all out attack on Palembang. 24 139W-3 bombers were shot down by the Zero cap, but it didn't prevent that 31 oil fields went ablaze...
