Is IR seekers being able to target and attack gravity bombs intended?

I've attached a save file showing the behavior (HQ-10s engaging GBU-10J/B Paveway II LGBs).

Checking the platforms and mounts using it, it has valid target = missile. So it is working as designed in that sense. Missile has imaging infrared seeker, so it should be capable. One similar missile is Umkhonto.

Oh ok I didn't realize the seeker was IIR, because it's not the sensor's notes, but the missilels properties has it listed.

Now I feel kind of bad for anyone who wasted time on this.
