I think you are saying you lost a window...?

Go to Game Options and click on reset window position button

Thanks for that I found that by trawling through the old threads but I could not get it work until I restarted my machine Thanks very much

It happens to me all the time when I accidentally move mission editor window outside game window while checking map... What thewood1 said resets the situation.
