three times now i've had coup d'etat as a balanced boskaran pirate as soon as I close the initial window when starting a new game.

Pirates do seem to get a lot of coup d'etats...

Maybe it is race specific. Playing as gizurean pirate my pirate leader was not changed whole game. Maybe it is because in gizurean empire game queen cant be changed.

Gizureans have a special property (-100% leader chance) which prevents them from getting new leaders... No other races have any modifiers to leader chance.
