My concern with the Germany - USA match is that the German team, while more savvy than 2010's wildly entertaining side, is just not built to draw. They are young (mostly), fast, technically gifted and have great setup men. They are built to score, not see the game out to get the result. They may not be capable of just "playing for the tie." However, the USA is highly motivated, more talented and better coached than in years past. They are very tough and can pull stuff out of the fire. Bottom line to me is to prevent Germany from scoring multiple goals, especially early. Germany scores 0 or 1 goals, I bet we get through. More than that, I doubt we can keep up. The only high scoring game that could come out well for the US is if it's a back and forth affair (i.e. 1-0, 1-1, 2-1, 2-2, etc). Should be great fun. I Believe that We Will Win (although I Believe I Would Happily Settle for a Draw).
