Despite many shortcomings I still like this game, so I decided to embark on yet another PBEM campaign.

Historical attrition. Hidden activation. Easy supply off. Manual reinforcements. Normal Delay.

Restrictions on raiders (border states or west without commander) and amphibious assaults/movement.

Coastal/Fort artillery blocks movement on rivers (New Orleans is exception). Mussel Shoals is limit riverine and ship movement in Tennessee. Marines can't be combined with not marines units (I think we will remove marines rule)

Increasing Riverine pool using money allowed only once a year (requisition as often as possible).

I decided to wage defensive campaign and focus my attention in the east forcing same scale of commitment of troops by my opponent.

In west I plan to hold Springfield as a base for future operation.

In the Mississippi valley I am ready to concede lots of territory. New Orleans and Chattanoga will be held, rest is of secondary importance for now.

Despite having slight advantage in the east I am not risking engagements and conserve my troops.

I am genuinely surprised by my opponents inactivity in eastern theatre. I fear nasty surprise in Richmond area (either amphibious assault or Penisula offensvie), so at the moment general offensive towards Washington is out of question. For now I will limit my actions to cavalry raids - Shelby is sent to outflank USA forces in Harper's Ferry .

Flanking manoeuvre by Longstreet and Shelby forced northern Army of Potomac under Banks out of Harper Feery.

Once I consolidate my gains I will raid north-east to stretch Union defences even further. If opportunity arises I will attemp direct assault on Alexandra or Washington.

In the meantime New Orlean's garrison reached 6000 men.

Well. I am genuinely disappointed.

Game has finished because my opponent abandoned it.
