I was going to install SPWaW 7.1 on my second comp that has no internet connection
So I copied the SetupSPWaWv7-1.exe file and all the extra campaigns (from PC 1) I have downloaded from the net to a CD.

But when I try and install on my sec PC it says something about wrong referens (handle) and the install dont start.

I tested it then on the PC I have it installed on and it worked fine (it has win ME and sec PC has win 95)

Anybody have any clue whats going on here??

Try copying the *.exe from the CD to the HD on the second computer and then try running it from the HD.

No that dident work,it will not let me copy it to the HD

Same fault mess coming, wrong file referens (handle)

I do notice now that the file that is named setupSPWaW7-1.exe only shows as setupSPW.exe on the PC with win 95?

Limitation of long file names on Win 95, copy the *.exe to another CD but before you do so rename it something like setup.exe. I think is where Win 95 is confused the long file name seems to be throwing it off.

It sounds like the *.exe is corrupted, I hope the zip still contains a good copy of it.
