Running your mod, Ice? Something could have changed.

These errors only occurred after the 1.9.5.6 Beta was installed. The AI Improvement Mod was tested in a variety of games with 1.9.5.5 prior to Alpha Release once my changes had stabilised ... with no errors.

The crash was quite obviously new in this version, I mostly wondered if it crashes with/without your mod.

Also experiencing this crash, and I'm not using Ice's mod, just the extended mod.

I have the same crash, but only when loading a save. Playing with DW Extended as well.

I've uploaded Cauldyth_July19_Crash1.dwg to the FTP site, which produces this error after a few seconds of running. The savegame comes from 1.9.5.5.

I'm using the Ext Mod. The crash has happened several times now. Not always at the same date.
Is there a log or dump that get's generated during crashes, or just the text I've already posted?

Yeah I've had a couple of these crashes now as well. This seems like a showstopper for the rest of the weekend until Matrix can fix it when they are back at work on Monday.

Steam can be useful as a backup for somewhat buggy beta patches :)

Good thought, just opted out of the Beta this time.

Have a look in C:\Users\<logon>\Documents\My Games\Distant Worlds Universe. {Win 7 location, but it is in the 'My Games' directory}
In earlier versions, a crash log (DW_CrashDump.txt) use to show up in version's save directory.

I guess the crash dumps did not move with the save location, so look in:

%APPDATA%\Code Force Limited\Distant Worlds

And inside the folder with the version number.

It should only say what you already posted, though.

Wow, strange. I haven't had any problems at all since I rolled back.
