I may have missed something here but I cannot find how to save a game with the name of MY choosing eg KIM TEST GAME 1.

The Manual says I can access the Save Game menu from the Main menu but I don't seem to have a Save Game button, just a LOAD and RESUME GAME choice. WTF????

I DO seem to have a large number of tutorial saves where I have obviously spat the dummy and exited the tutorial, but they all have quite cryptic save paths, dates, and times which seem syncronised with a clock other than my own PC clock, so trying to pick which one was my last is a complete lottery.

AGEOD, I am sure you will be patching this game; please allow us to save our games with our own names - every other PC game I have ever played offers this option!
thanks
Kim

have exactly the same problem - the manual does say you can manually save games but there is no "save" screen that they refer to

There is a save game button in game on the top right corner.

These saves will be named automatically. If you want to give them a custom name, you can do that from the main menu's Load game screen. Selecting a saved game, at the top right you can open up some options, including renaming the save.

so you have to click "load" to save a game - not very intuitive

also, the reasons for these questions is probably that the "save options" button only appears if you click on a game so at first glance you don't even see its there (not that you are expecting to find it anyway in the load screen)

it almost seems like AGEOD have gone out of there way to make things more complicated than they need to be

He didn't say you have to click load game to save a game. He said you go into the load game screen to rename your saved game to whatever you want to name it to. You still save the game with the save button in the top right corner of the game screen.

when you ESC from the game you have to click on the "load" button to get where your saved games are, and once you have done that the "save" button is not visible - not intuitive

why they couldn't just have a "save" button is beyond me

renaming a save ie calling it kim test game 1 can be done and the instructions on how to do it are on page 9 of the manual.
