ORIGINAL: warspite1 I know they are really boring to build, but in future I am going to build large numbers of TRS and AMPH. Having so few means juggling their positioning all over the globe - Oz, South Africa, Canada - and forget New Zealand! CPs, AMPH, and TRS are the most important naval units there are. Everything else is built either to get yours through or to stop the enemy from getting his through. If you don't have them, and your enemy is where he wants to be, he doesn't need a navy. In my game, through M/A 42, the US has started 6 TRS and 5 AMPH, while the CW has started 5 TRS and 2 AMPH. The Japanese have started 1 TRS and 2 AMPH, the Italians 1 TRS. These figures are low for the Axis, because the game has been going horribly for them, and they haven't built enough of anything. A fair number of these units are still on the production tracks, but they will all get built. (except maybe for one Ja AMPH; their game is falling apart, and I have no idea what they are going to do.) Note that even with the large numbers of AMPHs and TRS built, the Allies still never feel that they have an excess of transport.
