Kisaragi escapes despite several sub intercepts and Allied planes all over place. Quite heroic effort even though no transports were damaged.

The have a giant vat of Emperor-brand kool-aide on Chikuma. Gun battle at 1000 yds. Maryland is getting long in the tooth but her guns still work and you can hardly miss at 1000 yds.
Ultimately, Chikuma gives up and makes good her escape. We do manage to catch a couple of DD's with dive bombers from Bihoro in the morning.
Chikuma survives the sub gauntlet and the airstrikes. Wee Jap Dobbers on Chikuma...wee salute you!

Hokkaido: We had to pull back our unloading transports due to lack of surface escorts.
Nothing bad Happened. We break a bunch of AK's with dive bombers and TBF's from Bihoro which is now fully operational.
Our tanks close on Sapporo, which has 15K LYB's. Surprise CAP discovered.

Status: offline 		Kyushu: Fighters have been withdrawn from Nagasaki. We plasterize the airfield. Kanoya airfield now fully operational. Dive bombers at Kanoya just murder enemy AK's and TK's in western Japan. We hit a couple of the retreating DD's from yesterday's battle.

First air raid over Shimenoseki oil fields with B-24's meets a pretty good CAP. The B-24's are flying from Naha and Horycrappo-jima. The airfields are not big enough so half the B-24's are grounded every day.
