Not much of an AAR except to say Holy CRAP those Aspide 2000 batteries messed me up! They seriously shot down at least a dozen of my Tomahawks and literally wiped out an entire flight of my A-10s. I need to get better at SEAD apparantly! HaHa

Also...how do you get your jets to RTB when all they want to do is hit the tanker and refuel? I had to move a few of my tankers closer to home plate to even get the jets moving towards their base. Annnd...lost an F-22 to fuel starvation because of it...

Lost the scenario BTW when New Dehli got nuked....otherwise I really liked it!

This is a great scenario to play, up until the point that I lose because India gets nuked. I have played this one in its entirety about 12 times and have never won. How can you take out the bunker without the nuke being launched? I even hit it with a B-2 strike last game and the missile got off before the bunker was destroyed. I'm not sure what to do.

You have to destroy the actual missile TELs before you take out the bunker, otherwise they'll just launch.

It's a pain but you need to go into the Unit/Group settings for the aircraft (Ctrl+F9) and change the Use Refuel/UNREP to no. That will allow the jets to RTB without trying to refuel constantly. Keep in mind though, once you do that, each jet will stay on that setting until you switch it back. So, if you plan a long range op and depend on refueling, this could mess up your plans if even 1 jet is still defaulted to no-refuel.

I've played this a couple of times, and both times had conflicts with Pakistan. I managed to avoid pissing off Iran, but not Pakistan. So this time I decided to play with stealth aircraft only, plus some support on my side of the border.

First part was to move aircraft forward, to Bagram.
That included all Raptors, both B-2s, and all Rivet Joint aircraft. I did not risk sending Rivet Joints directly, and send them long way round Iran instead. Given their reload time of 30 minutes that was perfectly acceptable.

Raptors transited successfully to Kandagar. As the most dangerous part of the transit was on military speed, they only have fuel to Kandagar. Next step would be to load them up for ferry and transfer to Bagram.

All the aircaraft are assembled in Bagram by 1d16h to go.
Next part would be to load them:

2x B-2 to GBU21(V)1 (16x JDAM/Mk84)
8x Raptor to JDAM/MK83, Internal only
8x Thunderbolt to JDAM/MK84
4x Prowler to OECM Short range
4x Rivet Joint to ELINT

While I'm waiting for reloads, send some ELINT aircraft up. This hopefully gives me a picture of SAMs.

What currently concerns me is that Pakistani AEW aircraft. It seems to be there all the time, so no chance to sneak past when it is refueling.

Due to bad target assigments on my part, one set of missiles fired (4x nuclear missiles in total). Since these were cruise missiles, not ballistic, Raptors shot them down with AMRAAMs.

Egress in general North-West direction, min alt mil speed. Some Pakistani just took off but still they are not hostile. Possibly did not figure who I am.

The bunker was not destroyed in the raid. It is heavy damage/severe fire; I hope it evenually burns out without me sending a second strike.

At about 19 hours to go, the bunker did burn out.

Score 3 Triumph

SIDE: Pakistani Belligerents
===========================================================

LOSSES:
-------------------------------
4x Hatf 6 [Shaheen 2] TEL
4x Hatf 7 [Babur] TEL
4x 35mm Twin Oerlikon [UAR-1021 Skyguard FCR]
2x Vehicle (UAR-1021 Skyguard)

I have to wonder where 12x JF-17 came from??? I definitely never targeted any aircraft. Must be they were destroyed on the ground by a stray JDAM? But 12x? might be some sort of scenario issue? AI refueling maybe?
