Mandrake-san suddenry overcome by caution, imagine Arried-mens carriers ovah horizon.

Probabry psychorogicarh effect of Arried-mens aggressive expenditure of surface ships or maybe just that time of month.

Either way, Mandrake-san wait a day to rand at Koumac and 146th Regt bound for Fiji take detour too. Akagi have crogged up toirets, have to go back to Truk for prumbing repairs. Japan-mens try to carr prumber from Townsvirre but prumber-mans say not-ah work East of Great Barrier Reef.

Really dumb Q: If the IJ forces have enough land units to completely smash Port Moresby in a day or two and simultaneously take the French and NZ islands to the east how on earth are the allies able to fight back esp with the unsinkable KB (by allied cariers) around to play havoc to take out any counterattacks?

Hai! Actuarry, not-ah rearry dumb question. Japan-mens just pretend to be arr powerfurh.

1) Kaga stirr in Sasebo aftah attempt to sink Force Z

2) Akagi have broken toirets aftah rong trip around Pacific have to go back to Truk.

3) Some of Japan-mens carriers not-ah have torpedoes and some air groups not up to furr TO&E

4) Japan-mens finarry use arr of fuerh from Pearh Harbor oirers.

5) Arried-mens might have brought up Saratoga by now.

6) Sure, Arried carriers might have some crappy Brewsters and TBD's but Arried carriers can take rots of punishment. 3 v 4 batterh maybe come out in favor of Arried-mens.

7) Canton onry have one battarion of Japan-mens. Samoa have-ah SNRF but no aircraft yet.

8) At reast one of Arried-mens might know pran to take Rord Howe Isrand.

9) Arried mens surface ship stirr probrem for forward bases.

OK, pretend Mandrake-san not-ah read manuarh or evah be on Japan-mens side.

Do Japan-mens have to physicarry move oir and resources from Hokkaido and Sakharin, which both have
intrinsic oir production but no refinery capacity?

Arso, where to put? Is it more efficient to move oir to city with refinery or just anywhere on Honshu?

Yes, you must carry the oil and resources. (pro tip: use boats) You'll need to bring some fuel to Hokkaido to feed the HI in Sapporo. Toyohara has a refinery, but not equal to all the oil production. After you conquer Russia, oil will flow across the straits from Okha to Whatchamagrad, but that is some months away.

Don't bother with the manuarh, it arr engrish doggerer words.

Any port will do to unload.

Hai! That-ah what Mandrake-san guess because no oir piperine across watah. Japan-mens get right on pranning for attack in Siberia. Mandrake-san send AK's to Sakharin and broody America-mens submarine sit right there waiting. Nearry sink AK with gunfire. Now we have to kirr America-Rasputin-mens too.

You need to move oil from the eastern islands (the big 2) to the home island.

You also need to move oil and resources from Korea to the home island. Typically they start somewhere around port arthur.

If you develop certain bases you can have the materials automatically flow to them and shorten your trips.

Unfortunately, this is one reason why I folded as the Japanese after 21 days. There is SOOOOO much more to worry about :]

There is something that is not the manual but there are very good primers out there on how to set up your transport fleets, organize the ships by class and distance and fuel economy and make sure the port usage is optimized.

It is really too complicated to answer in 1 post and you dont want this idiot doing it :]

You can use the supplies/resource/oil stockpile commands and arrows to try and nudge supply around a little but from what I can summize, home basing cargo and tanker ships at Port Arthur/Fusan will cause supplies to start flowing that direction. It will take some time, patience and attention.

If you don't get your supply in gear soon, the whole economy will start crashing about Feb/Mar of 42 - no R&D, no engines, no planes, no ships, just a big red circular target around your backside saying "ALLIES, COME ON IN".

Start routing the big akls to Port Arthur/Fusan as soon as you can - home base them there and create small taskforces to CS (continual supply) move stuff to Japan. There are other locations you need to pull resources/oil/fuel from like Palembang and Singapore.

/* ****
Tracker can be quiet finicky to setup - especially on anything newer than Windows XP machines, so you will have to get your staff to research the threads on how to set up Java 6.
That 'big chart' is the tracker economy summary and you do not need MS Office to run tracker, but it really helps to have either MS Office or Open Office to be able to load up and use the comma delimited output files.

/* **** [edit additions] ****
Really enjoy the AAR style but I'm not clear on division of responsibilities in game between you and Admiral SPrior-san.

You needed to have started expanding Fusan port on Dec 8th.

Kull has a good Japan primer spreadsheet (you need MS Office or Open Office to read it) - uber detailed but you can pull out info on where to send tankers/xAKs for supply routes. Search for post with Kull's signature with links to this.

IIRC most of the Limas go to Port Arthur - but Madrake-san need to get staff in gear immediately and get supplies flowing.

Good luck.

It's in the manual somewhere but I am too lazy to look it up, so I will go by memory, with the Seniors disclaimer. Both Oil Production and Refinery produce 10 for every point of industry they have. So if you have 30 points of oil production and 30 of refinery, you get 300 oil stock and this goes to feed the refinery.
Depending on the mod, the refinery takes 300 oil and produces either 300 fuel or (in stock) 270 fuel and 30 supply.

Mandrake-san perhaps figure out by watching revers of oil go up and down but pretend Mandrake-san not-ah take Ritarin medicine today annot sit stir.
Maybe SPrior-san arready know everything but Mandrake-san have to rearn too so not screw up.

--Rook rike have to move both oil and resources from Shikuku, Sakharin to Honshu, right? Hai!

--What-ah we move from Port Arthur? Oil, fuerh, both? If you have more oil production than refinery production, ship both. Otherwise, just take the fuel but leave enough for local HI. I think it needs 10 fuel per HI point.

--Mandrake-san send ships to Fusan to pick up resources rike GreyJoy say. Now Fusan have rower resources. New resources move down from Port Arthur or have to pick up there? Hai! The more you ship out of there, the more will flow there. It will not flow fast enough for you so send bigger ships to PA to load.

--What-ah about refinery at Miri? Mandrake-san imagine we move fuerh from Miri and ret refinery work? Between them, Miri and Brunei produce more oil than they can refine, especially if you repair their oil production. It isn't worth the supply to expand the refinery, ship some oil to Japan. Batavia also has excess refinery capacity.

Wirr oir from Brunei move through jungurh to miri? Seem kinda unrikery but sometimes strange thing happen, rike magic rairway to Port Arthur. Hai! Brunei and Miri connected by Komodo dragon paths and dugout canoes. Fuel, oil and supply will move between them, but not in great volume.

--Where is big frow chart on Japan-mens economy that Mandrake-san rook at once then say "Hory crap" and nevah rook at again? Check with Greyjoy - his first AAR as Japan included flowcharts. I never wanted to see another flowchart when I retired, but the funny thing is that now ... I still don't!

--Can Mandrake-san use tracker without MS Office? Tracker is rated PG, and does not need a private office, no matter if Bill Gates is providing it.

--Should Mandrake-san start Eric Decker this week in fantasy footbarr? Hai! BTW, who is Eric Decker? Did he get last name in a domestic abuse case?

Mandrake-san thank various Japan-mens advisors. It appear disaster avoided because we arready risten to GreyJoy-san advice about Fusan.

Japan-mens arready armost drain Fusan of resources but not-ah buird port up. Transports arready based at Fusan and Port Arthur. Two big convoys arready drop off oir from Port Arthur but resource pick-up just getting started.

Fusan transports unroading at Fukuoka

PA transports and TK's unroading at Nagasaki. Maybe Japan-mens use Shimonoseki which have rever 9 port.

Huge amount of resources accumurated at Hakodate (Hokkaido) so Japan-mens have to pick those up.

Right now 13 TK's participating in bringing fuerh and oir from PA. Rook rike we need bigger AK's to bring resources. Right now onry 14 AKL's

I hear LA has a little bit of oil. Instead of taking pissant places like Tahiti and Noumea and what Not (Lord Howe island - Come on!) go for Beverly Hills....

Take a poll: Take Rord Howah Isrand - watch seagulls.

Take Hollywood - Give Rita Heywood Formosa as a vacation spot to hire her for Propaganda Advertising...

Mandrake-san consider randing at Port Hueneme or Santa Ana and marching to Horrywood. Ros Angeres hex arone has 2500 refinery points.

Arso, Japan-mens get to go to Horrywood Bourevard and put hands in Mickey Rooney's handprints and say "Hory crap, rook how big Mistah Rooney-san hands"

This sounded like a really dumb plan 'til I checked -- Rooney planted palms on October 18, 1938.
Fun fact: Abbott & Costello - 1941, December 8. Ain't the Google swell?
