Could this be modded into an Air Campaign game? Say, the USAAF bombing campaign. I'm new to the game, and need mod instructions as well. any help appreciated.

The short answer is: No.

The longer answer is you could play a game that way but would have to completely re-write the victory conditions, which currently are based on the possession of certain hexes.

The most overlooked choice in the game is for an "Air" impulse. One of these days I want to try a very serious "Battle of Britain" as the Germans, spending a lot on LND3 bombers early on. Just to try it.

But a sustained bombing campaign is certainly a strategic option in the game. (Hint: park unused TRS/AMPH in the North Sea for extra re-org points). You would still have to order all the other pieces around to try it out, however.
