UPDATE: version 1.1

I want to thank all the community for many scenarios that come up every day and, since you have all been ispiration and fun for me, I wanted to give something back with this little scenario.
This is my first try at designing a scenario in CMANO, so be kind. I regret to not have enough time to playtest it extensively, I'm asking for your help to refine and correct my newbie mistakes (I'm sure there are); after few tries everything seems working fine but I've not played it for more than a few hours. Feel free to comment and suggest any improvement needed.

China has it's eyes elsewhere and Vietnam sees this as a perfect chance to take back the Paracel Islands. Assuming that a strategical strike-back (see MRBM-ICBM) is not acceptable by the chinese leadership due to international pressure, vietnam's government orders a limited deployement of aero-naval assets against chinese defences in the archipelago.

Limited units, realistical environment and a few surprises are the characteristics of this scenario, designed for a low-medium experienced player. This is a realistic conflict that could happen tomorrow!

Hello
I am really enjoying your scenario, I Love playing the smaller nations.
Just noticed a few things . Was is your intention to have no reloads at any of the airbases?
Also it will take between 5 to 10 hours to get the very few strike aircraft into the fight, think I
might have lost my surprise element there.
This is a problem with the database, The SU-30MK2V can carry the KH-59ME and MK, the
KH-35 and RVV-AE AA-12 .

Reloads and strike aircraft delay are intended as they are, I'm representing the fact that this is a rag-tag operation started in hurry, with few resourses allocated, few weapon loads and your ground crew is really strained by all this overwork...were the number of strike aircraft and weapon loads enough for the targets or did you had to resort to ship guns?
For the database issue, I will check tomorrow morning, I'm sorry it seems I'm unaware of how scenario databases works and their consequences.

Almost working perfectly, but unbalanced with the no reloads I suspect?
Its nicely put together and is an intriguing situation. However after an initial pass my CAP had run out of ammo, while the opposition hadn't. From that moment I had no recon, no aircraft and no chance of any strike whatsoever surviving. My aircraft and ships were all steadily picked off and no real chance of returning fire even. I managed to sink I think two ships in the entire game, one of which was a civilian!

I suspect if ammo was added this would play out well.

Well, it turned out wasn't intended by me to have empty magazines (since this seems too gamebreaking), it was simply that I didn't cared about the level of detail this game offers...well, this is some kind of mistake that everybody can learn a lesson from, so I've fixed this issue, I just hope to not have done too much the other way!

Just some question if somebody testing it do not bother answering me, it will take a few minutes:
-Do you think Chinese aircraft are too many?
-Do you have problems attacking targets using aircrafts? (during my testing some attack aircraft refused to attack certain targets, surely I was missing something but I'm curious if somebody experiences this issue)
-Is it too easy to locate the sub? (I'm thinking about adding biologics, but seems to be no cetaceans in the region, maybe swordfishes or tunas?)
-Is SAM opposition too strong?
