Final score: Average 127 (lost 75 VPs due to aircraft running out of fuel - not a game issue).

This was a very detailed and well thought out scenario with, I'm guessing, a re-playability factor depending on how the player sticks to the ROE etc. I think if the player broke the rules, then the scenario would become much more difficult. As it was, I stuck to the rules by killing all the CWA aicraft and disabling their airfields. I also tried to destroy the majority of the CWA oil related infrastructure.

To accomplish the tasks above, a combination of B2s, B52s, JDAMs, and Tomahawks were used.

There are a number of minor tasks that pop up during the scenario. Some of these, such as a rescue that completes after two hours in a certain area, could be improved with a couple of pop-up messages for the player to know when these tasks have been completed and VPs have been scored. In the end, I activated scenario messages in the log which I normally leave turned off.

Overall a good scenario but I have to say that I enjoyed playing Goodnight Irene more than this one and also found it far more challenging.

Thanks for the feedback!

I'm thinking that if you had concentrated more on the Chinese targets, that your score would have been much better. Once hostilities initiate with the Chinese, they are supposed to be the prime targets -- and there are a lot of VP's on the map.

I am glad you enjoyed it. This scenario evolved a lot during development with the intent to keep the player challenged. I concur that Goodnight Irene is overall more challenging, but as the US/Allied player this scenario is not a walk in the park -- you have to be prudent and hustle to get a Triumph level of victory.

Thanks again.

Regards,
Feltan

Hi Feltan,

Perhaps I misread the brief but I intentionally left the Chinese alone. I'll definitely try again.

Thanks
