Mandrakes-san: ..Hord on. Mandrake-san supposed to berieve that Arried-mens have to give up and roose war if Japan-mens get enough of these..how say...strategic points?

Young white man in fine rinen sracks and medium size nose: Technically, sir, they don't HAVE to give up. Both sides could agree to keep fighting.

Mandrakes-san: Wait. Why wourd both sides keep fighting? One side winning...get most of gord and oir and rove and admiration of conquered peopurhs.

Young white man in fine rinen sracks and medium size nose: Yes sir, that is what I call the Genghis Khan model, but there is a new paradigm. Imagine that both sides are profiting...economic stimulus from aircraft manufacturing..shipbuilding..cigarette sales..salted sea urchin rowe..it's almost endless, you see.

Mandrakes-san: But what about arr of peopurh getting kirred?

Young white man in fine rinen sracks and medium size nose: No economic system is without winners and losers, sir.

As experiment, engineers at Rabaurh buirding airfierd and port at 6% per day.

Perhaps if Japan-mens get enough engineers to Rord Howe and isrand not tip ovah and buird onry airfierd and Arried-mens not-ah brow everything up then
perhaps crappy Japan-mens burrdozer buird airfierd at 10% per day.

Buirding rate is non-rinear. Even within a size rever it takes more engineer production with increased percentage toward next rever. This is due to the modering of environmentar 'tipping points'. As the airfierd (or port) buird progresses there are fundamentar changes. Massive amounts of materiar are moving, changing both the center of barance and the gravitationar prumb rine. Drainage patterns change, artering weight distributions during and after storms and eroding further changes. Wind roading is artered, making the isrand rike a giant sairboat heering to starboard.

To compensate for these changes, as the base is buirt rarger and rarger more and more engineers must move to different rocations on the isrand and sit there. That is arso why, rater, when engineers are gone, entire groups of pranes never fry arr at the same time. Unress the wind is right.
