Hey,

I'm designing my first scenario for this fine simulation and I have few questions that I can't seem to find an answer for.

I'm trying to setup a tanker and aux ship with ammo in order to support a task force. Can't seem to find any suitable ships for this mission. Can you use a commercial tanker for this? In that case how do you edit fuel ammount on the tanker.

Can you select a commercial ship and setup magazines so they can carry missiles for other ships to re-arm from? If not what ships would you use instead?

How do aircraft treat their home carriers/bases that are under attack? IRL they would avoid entering contested airspace due to the risk of being targeted by friendly SAMs and AA. It seems to me they head back anyway. Does CMANO model friendly fire, like friendly SAMs/Aircraft targeting other friendly units? Maybe something for the future?

Also Mike, if you're reading this, there have been comments in other threads regarding upcoming version with improved Air logic and new triggers. Can you shed any light on when that might happen? Some of the new triggers are exactly what I need :)

British Fort class (Grange Victoria) will replenish and the US T-AOE-6 Supply. Remember to resup you must have the right ordnance in the suppliers mags. Check the ships properties in the data base If a ship has Replenish to Port or starboard etc, it should able to resup in the game.
To resup a ship can't be in a group. and don't forget to check refuel/Unrep in ROE section then sail ship to the same point. If the ship is resup or refuelling you will see in the unit status box on the right screen,

Dont know much about naval stuff so I will leave that for others, as for your air question, right now I think the AI does not behave differently on its own concerning their base being under attack or not. Friendly fire is not modelled as far as I know. Interesting idea but might also be tricky to implement in a "fair" way.

Regardless of whether or not the airfield is under attack you could manually set a SAM deconfliction plan up with a No Nav zone for the aircraft that has a corridor to RTB through and similarly you could give the SAMs an AAW patrol with a prosecution area that matches the No Nav zone and excludes the corridor. Just make sure you set the SAM site (if it is a mobiel SAM) to hold position so it does not actually start moving on the patrol. Does that make sense?

If not let me know and I can build you a rough example when I have time (could be a few days though)

Thx, in this case I was looking for a Russian supply ship so VTR Berezina should do the job. :) However what about other nations let's say you want some smaller nation to have a supply ship, can't seem to find any Generic ships that have supply/replenish properties.

Hi. The team (us and beta testers) are working hard to finish the next update. It really is massive in terms of features and adds (full details on this soon) but we're also committed to being fair to our publisher as they do have a pretty hefty release schedule these days. So soon but can't give you a date. If we must we'll push to public beta though
