Hi guys,

just about to release my first scenario for testing.

One thing I do not really understand is the scoring system: What are logical values for defeat / victory / triumph etc?

And how are they linked to the explicit game goals? For example: Nato shall down 12 Russian ac in order to win and 16 ac in order to achieve a triumph. How to transform this into the scoring system?

In the scenario editor, there's an "edit scoring" bar. Any value can be assigned to either disaster or triumph.
As for how points are scored, they're scored through the event engine. A series of events for a classic WWIII conflict would go something like this:

Event: Soviet Ship Sunk
"Trigger: Soviet Ship Sunk"
"Action: NATO Points +5"

Event: Low-Value NATO plane lost
Trigger: F-5 or F-104 shot down"
Action: NATO Points -2"

Event: High-Value NATO Plane lost
"Trigger: E-3 or SR-71 shot down"
Action: NATO Points -20

(If only one side is playable, the other side's points are totally irrelevant)

The exact numbers are totally arbitrary and up to the scenario designer.

Ah, ok.

So, I have to combine events with points. And then summarize the points and relate them to the classification.

thx

Events = Triggers + actions
