Soviet HQ downgrade?

Why my soviet HQ have now 18 command points instead of 21? In turn 43, 1941-45 campaign. Is there something i have down wrong? I tried resetting game options to default and my HQs command points stays at 18.

Looks like once i set to challenging, i cannot change the option anymore for this game, so be it then.

Hi,

It's been 18 starting in spring, sometime, in '42, for quite a long while now. Recent change allow shock and guard armies 20 CP. AFAIK.

Yes, just found this in the manual, thanks anyway sorry to bother.

My shock army has 18cp too, is the 20cp coming with next patch?

Not a problem, see patch notes for .01,(maybe .02) for shock and guard army CPs. Maybe takes effect later in campaign??

See item 89 in patchnotes for .08beta.

The dates I have are:-

Soviet Mixed army was reduced to 18cp 4/42 and remains that way.
Shock and Guard armies reduced to 21cp 9/41.
Tank armies are 15cp with Gd Tk increasing to 16cp 4/43.
Front start at 72cp and increase annually every year in April by 9cp, finishing on 99cp.

For me it reflects the Soviet early inability for command and control. I always keep my armies at the below or max CP, never overloading them. As the army CP falls I adding extra armies to the Front, overloading them as needed (often in 41/42).
